The roots of Lukasz’s adventure with the music reaches 2001 – the era of not so ambitious vibes that were rocking in the top discos. The boredom of omnipresent music populism developed a strong willingness to find something new and different. This resulted in first fascinations in drum vibes of those day’s tribal house, often with addition of string sections and brass bands as well as breeze of fresh electro house. Lukas has already been playing in most of Gniezno’s music clubs. In 2006 his own ‘Alternative Music’ serie of parties brought attention of a very young ‘Szajse Records’ collective. Together they engaded a mission of rebuilding the club scene in a local area. That gave a rise to ‘Digital Reanimation’ and ‘Szajse Records Showcase’ just to name a few examples. Soon, Tube became one of the collective’s pillars and in the next four years, one of initiators and co-authors of hundreds of events featuring guests form Russia, France, Netherlands, Germany and England. On a regular basis, he is playing in many clubs across the whole country, including one of the most esteemed – Eskulap Club (the best polish club of 2009 DJ Magazine’s Polish Awards prize winner). Thanks to his consistence and Szajse Record’s actions, Gniezno – the first capital of Poland – hosted the first audiovisual festival in it’s whole history, “Candid”. Artists frome all over the world were invited to attend this event. In June 2010 they gave a birth to the next breakout project – RTS.FM official polish studio.
Tube, asked about his dream occupation answers through the laugh: ‘music search engine’ and that’s because of his habbit to listen’ thousands of hundreds music compositions in order to find some new inspirations. Thanks to this his compilations „MINI”, „KLIK KLIK”, „MONSTER WANTS TO KILL ME!” and „ESCAPE FROM DARK WOOD” were publicated in the most respected brand portals.
His main goal is and has always been promoting young, independent artists what results in their presence in Lukasz’s mixes. For a bit of time his compilations tend to have a deep dub sound, ambient space and extraordinary melodies consisting of ethnic samples based on minimal beat. In connection with treating mixer as an instrument his performances birng a goosebump and cause a lot of deep emotions in the audience."
